Parasol Cooperative Partnership Announcement
EMERALD SAGE
The Digital Resilience Project is pleased to announce a new partnership with Parasol Cooperative, supporting the introduction of their trauma-informed AI chatbot, Ruth, into our broader digital safety and awareness initiatives.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to safe, ethical, and survivor-centred innovation, ensuring that emerging technologies strengthen support pathways for those experiencing harm.
Ruth represents a significant advancement in how individuals experiencing harm from domestic and family violence, human trafficking, and technology-facilitated abuse, can safely access support. Designed by and for survivors and the advocates who work alongside them, Ruth helps people identify and navigate crisis situations – without replacing human care.

What distinguishes Ruth is its strong safeguarding design. It operates without logins, tracking, or data collection, ensuring anonymity from the outset. Conversations are retained only briefly for quality assurance before being permanently deleted and are never used to train AI models or shared with third parties. Its responses are guided by trauma-informed, evidence-based standards to prioritise safety and wellbeing in every interaction.
