Soft Launch in Melbourne

Last week we were incredibly proud to officially ‘soft launch’ the Digital Resilience Project. The event brought together leaders from government, academia, frontline services, and industry, reinforcing something we have long believed: Addressing technology-facilitated abuse requires a coordinated, cross-sector response.

The soft launch of the Digital Resilience Project is not the finish line – it’s the beginning.

We were honoured to welcome Assistant Minister Ged Kearney, whose keynote address highlighted the importance of recognising technology-facilitated abuse as a growing national issue and the need for collaboration across sectors to better support victim-survivors. Her commitment to bringing together government, industry and the community to strengthen Australia’s response set the tone for a powerful afternoon of discussion and shared purpose.

The conversations that followed explored what frontline responders and researchers are seeing every day, how we can build a genuine community of practice, and how emerging technologies like AI are changing both the risks and the opportunities for prevention and response. A heartfelt thank you to our keynote speakers, our outstanding panellists, every attendee who joined the discussion, and the many volunteers, partners and supporters who helped make our launch possible.
